DeMotu has a new home

Last year, I had the pleasure of visiting DeMotu Watches. Congratulations to DeMotu on the new workshop and showroom.

Located in the heart of Töölö, Helsinki.

DeMotu has been part of the show for as long as I can remember — probably every single time — and they have always brought their brand vision with them. Aviation watches and instruments are clearly DeMotu’s core segment. While their watches are perfectly suited for everyday life, they have a strong design language and a very clear brand identity.

The company was founded 22 years ago and originally operated at Malmi Airport. As Helsinki has been converting the airport area into residential land, DeMotu was forced to look for new premises. Their new home is now in downtown Helsinki, in Töölö — an easy location to reach, with parking nearby and excellent public transportation connections.

The workshop is on-site, making it a great experience to enjoy both the craftsmanship and the watches themselves. The new space is finished to the highest standard one could expect, with the aviation theme present throughout. We highly recommend visiting the showroom and having a closer look.
