Sarpaneva Stardust
Stepan Sarpaneva has just launched two new Stardust versions, continuing his unmistakable cosmic journey.
Two worlds. One orbit. No return
Cold orbit - Pluto
Burning orbit - Mars
In 2023, Stepan marked the 20th anniversary of his company with the Stardust collection. While the very first Sarpaneva watch dates back to 1999 (*Time Tramp*), these two new models already feel iconic.
The design language is unmistakably Sarpaneva: layered construction, expressive steel work, touches of lume, and the signature moonface on the caseback, now paired with the updated Chronode movement. The option of what is arguably the coolest steel bracelet in the business completes the package.
The two versions - Mars and Pluto - share the same architecture yet express entirely different worlds. Pluto is cold, distant, and restrained, with a silvered dial that captures stillness and quiet light. Mars moves in contrast, carrying a subtle red-gold warmth beneath a frosted surface, evoking fading heat and celestial dust. Cold orbit and burning orbit, bound by the same gravity.
Together, Mars and Pluto are not destinations, but expressions of Sarpaneva’s ongoing exploration of space, contrast, and time - watches shaped by craft, imagination, and an uncompromising vision.
Well done, Stepan
